About Vignoble Rivière du Chêne
Winemaker Daniel Lalande founded Vignoble Rivière du Chêne in 1998, and it now covers more than 25 hectares on the Route des Basses-Laurentides. Its wines carry the IGP Vins du Québec designation; the Trilogie Réserve won silver at the 2026 National Wine Awards of Canada, and the Gabrielle rosé and William white sell for about $16.
The 2026 season runs from April to December. Weekend VIP visits with a five-wine tasting cost $36, with an English tour at 1:30 p.m.; weekday discovery visits with four wines are $28, a guided tasting under the outdoor tent is $25, and counter tastings are $13 on rainy days. In fall, the harvest experience lets you pick grapes on weekend mornings from September 19 to October 12 for $17, by reservation. A picnic package for two ($75) ran on open days to October 18.
Bistro VRDC serves regional cooking indoors or on a terrace over the vines, with weekend brunch; book a table online. Pergola tables for 8 to 10 can be rented for celebrations, and summer events run under the name Les rendez-vous de l'été.
La Maison Lavande is also in Saint-Eustache, about 10 minutes away, so a lavender morning and lunch at the bistro fit together easily.
