About Aflori Acres
Aflori Acres is a new lavender property on Osborne Road in Athens, in Leeds and Grenville. Owners Aftim and Lori planted the first lavender field in Athens as a quiet retreat, and the property now has a large lavender field, gardens and active beehives.
The farm held its official grand opening on July 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with fresh food, local market vendors and family activities. Apart from that day, it is not open to the public: visits are by appointment, and the owners say regular public visits are coming in 2027.
For now the property is mainly a small venue. It rents the field for private gatherings of up to 30 guests, from a 90-minute gathering to a full eight-hour day, and hosts elopements, ceremonies and vow renewals for up to 20 guests and micro-weddings for up to 30. Professional photographers can rent the field for one, two or four hours. Prices are by request. The farm does not supply food or drinks; outside catering is allowed with approval, and all food waste must be packed out. There is a portable toilet on site.
Big Waters Bakery in Athens is a few minutes away for coffee and baked goods.
