About Lavender Mills Farm
Lavender Mills Farm covers 43 acres on Beach Road in Oxford Mills, a small village in North Grenville south of Ottawa. More than 3,500 lavender plants grow below an 1839 stone farmhouse, and in fall the farm turns to pumpkins, including warty, white, blue and pale pink types, stacked into a tall pumpkin wall that makes a popular photo spot.
Lavender season is short. The farm opens for field walks in July only, on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and closes to the public after July 24. Admission is $5 per person, and children are free. When the blooms peak you can pick your own bouquet for $5. Drop in any time during open hours and stay as long as you like; bus tours should book ahead.
Bring a picnic, or buy an individual charcuterie box and a lavender lemonade on site. The farm stand sells lavender products and goods from local makers. In 2026 the farm also hosted the Soirée in the Field, a luxury picnic with live music on July 4, and the North Grenville Lavender Festival on July 19. Yoga sessions and private gatherings are announced on their social pages, and photographers can book the property.
Brigadoon Restaurant, also in Oxford Mills, is a few minutes away for a sit-down meal.
