About Lavande Braydale Lavender
Lavande Braydale is run by Carl and Tracey and their children Brayden, Zachary and Théa on Tracey's family farm on Sandringham Road in Moose Creek, in Eastern Ontario. They are fourth-generation farmers: the main business is free-range poultry, with wheat, corn and soybeans, and the family taps about 300 buckets of sap for maple syrup each spring. The lavender field opened to visitors in the summer of 2023, a two-acre sunflower field was added for 2026, and about 1,500 more lavender plants were planned for spring planting.
The lavender usually blooms from late June to early August, depending on the weather and variety. General field admission applies during peak bloom and events, and tickets can be bought online or at the farm; buying online is recommended for busy weekends. Cutting your own stems depends on the season and event schedule, with details posted when you arrive. The farm held its second annual Lavender Festival on July 18, 2026, with live music, flower tours and vendor stalls, and it also hosts sunset yoga, paint nights, music nights and private picnics.
The self-serve barn store, which needs no ticket, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Christmas 2026. It sells lavender essential oil, floral water, dried bouquets, lavender maple syrup, sachets, soap, buds and bath soaks, plus goods from local makers. Picnics are welcome, and seating is spread through the field.
Countryside Adventures, also in Moose Creek, is a few minutes away for a second family farm outing.
