About Euphie d'Ici Café & Smoothie Bar

Euphie d'Ici is a café and smoothie bar on Notre-Dame Street in the heart of Embrun, at the end of the village's multi-use path, which makes it a natural stop for walkers and cyclists. Owner Geneviève founded it with a focus on buying from local, eco-minded suppliers, and the café later took on a line of house-made salads to keep that local food business in the community.

Smoothies lead the menu. There are about 15 fruit blends, from Four Berry Fusion to Princess Peach and Tropical Oasis, plus a long list of protein and superfood smoothies such as Chocolate Avocado and Flax & Chia, and you can swap in almond, coconut, oat or lactose-free milk. The espresso bar pours lattes, Americanos and iced drinks, along with mochas, chai and frappes.

For something more filling, there are breakfast wraps and bagels, a Caesar crunch or avocado chicken wrap, paninis on ciabatta, Greek, Caesar and garden salads, quesadillas and soft pretzels with dips. Gluten-free bread is available for bagels, paninis and quesadillas for a small charge. The café also caters business meetings and parties, and you can call ahead to place an order.

Les Jardins Écologistes Grégoire, the lavender farm in St-Albert, is about 15 minutes southeast, so a smoothie and wrap here make an easy lunch on a lavender day.
