About Manchester Blooms
Manchester Blooms is a cut-flower farm on Bethel Church Road between Manchester and Saline, run with a relaxed, play-first spirit and a focus on time outdoors. Eighteen mass-planted annual beds are divided by grassy walking rows, and wildflower beds and naturalized areas fill in around them. A ring of sunflowers circles the farm, and a nature trail winds through it, popular with butterflies.
The farm is open seasonally from mid-July through October. You fill a watering can or bucket with stems you cut yourself; a 2-quart can makes about two bouquets and the 9-quart bucket three to five. Bring your own pruning shears if you have them, though scissors are available. The 2026 U-pick season ended early in the fall when the beds thinned out, though the farm kept filling orders until frost. Walking the trail alone costs $3 a person or $10 a carload, and it is free with any flower purchase.
From late June, the farm books private two-hour afternoon slots on Fridays and Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m. and on Sundays after 3:30 p.m. for garden parties, bridal showers and photo sessions, arranged by text or email. Assistance animals are always welcome and friendly leashed dogs may use the nature trail. There is no wifi or power on site, and the fields are in full sun.
Plainly Elegant Lavender is about 4 miles northeast, making it easy to fill a bucket with flowers here and cut a lavender bundle there on the same summer day.
