About Seven Oaks Lavender Farm
Seven Oaks Lavender Farm is a small family farm on Old Dumfries Road in Catlett, in eastern Fauquier County, an easy drive from the Washington suburbs, Fredericksburg or central Virginia. Jason and Katie Rinker, longtime Manassas residents with seven children, are the current owners and carry on the farm started by Deb and Edie.
The summer season is short and centered on you-pick. In 2026 the farm was open June 1 through July 15, from 10 AM to 5 PM, closed Mondays; hours outside the season are posted on their website. The lavender field sits about 500 yards uphill from the parking fields, and visitors who would find that walk hard can ask at the shop for permission to drive to the top. Dogs on leashes are welcome in the lavender field on Thursdays during the summer season.
Picnics are welcome as long as you bring your own blanket and carry out your trash, and the farm books small private events in the evenings during the season and after-hours photography appointments. The shop carries lavender teas in blends such as Earl Grey and lavender, lavender chai and lavender matcha, plus goat milk soaps and lotion, a wine and lavender jam, chai syrup, sachets and bouquets. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are accepted. In fall the farm appears at local festivals listed on their social pages.
