About Pearmund Cellars
Pearmund Cellars is a Fauquier County winery whose tasting room is open to guests 21 and older. At the entrance to the property, the Pearmund Farmstore and Wine Bar fills a farmhouse of about 300 years, one of the oldest homes in the county. It is the one place that pours and sells wines from all three of the family's wineries: Pearmund Cellars, Effingham Manor and Vint Hill Craft Winery. The winery makes beer as well as wine.
The winery is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Farmstore opens Saturdays and Sundays from 11 to 6 and was set up so families with children can enjoy the property without breaking the winery's 21-and-older rule. Inside you'll find goods and crafts from Virginia makers, a sun porch, a Virginia Room and four upstairs parlor rooms that look out over the vineyard; groups of up to 10 can rent a parlor. You can sit outdoors, even out in the vineyard, and you are welcome to bring a picnic to the Farmstore.
Food vendors set up on many weekends, and the October 2026 calendar included live music, a mentalist show and a Family Halloween Day at the Farmstore. Reservations are made through their website.
Lavender Hill in The Plains is about 15 minutes northwest; check its open days before planning the two together.
