About Stanton Road Pumpkin Patch
Stanton Road Pumpkin Patch is a family-run fall farm near Walkerton that began in 2011 with a dad and his five-year-old son, Nathan. It has grown since then but sets out to stay a simple pumpkin patch rather than an amusement park, and there is no gate fee: you pay only for pumpkins and a few select activities.
The 2026 season runs from September 26 to October 30, open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm and closed Monday through Thursday. Grab a wagon and head into the five-acre pumpkin field to pick your own, or ride the wagon out to the patch. Afterward, Sudsy's Pumpkin Wash will wash and dry your pumpkin so it goes home clean.
Kids can work through the four-acre corn maze with its themed maze game, ride the barrel train (each car seats two children, on Saturdays and Sundays), and climb and slide in the play area. The Stanton Rd. Pumpkin Cafe serves hot spiced cider, hot chocolate, coffee and free popcorn, and the farm sets up straw bales and seasonal displays for family photos.
Pretty Lake Farms near Plymouth is about 20 minutes southeast, so check whether it has open days if you want to pair a lavender stop with a fall visit here.
