About Goin's Blueberry Lane
Goin's Blueberry Lane is a family-owned blueberry farm on 750 West outside North Judson, about an hour from Chicago, that has been growing berries for more than four decades. The Indiana State Fair named it a featured farm in 2022, and the farm goes through third-party food safety audits.
Picking starts around July 1 and usually lasts into mid- or late August, depending on the crop. In season the farm is open every day from 7 am to 6 pm. You can pick your own or buy ready-picked berries, and there is no entrance fee, so you only pay for what you take home. The farm's posted prices are $2.10 a pound for U-pick and $3.35 a pound for ready-picked.
The farm market sells blueberry treats made with the farm's fruit. A picnic area has grills and lawn games, and the restrooms are kept clean, which makes it easy to turn a picking trip into a family lunch outing. Payment is by cash or check, and pets are not allowed.
Bonnell's Blueberries is just up the same road if you want to compare patches. Pretty Lake Farms, a lavender grower near Plymouth, is about 40 minutes east; check its visiting days first.
