About neob Lavender
neōb Lavender's farm on Niagara Stone Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake covers 12 acres of essential-oil crops and flowers, including more than 20,000 lavender plants. Robert and Melissa run it as a family farm, and it serves as the research site and source for the company's lavender products and oils. Lavenders grown for their scents include Massuet, Glorious and Niagara, alongside rose geranium, lemongrass, rosemary, peppermint and spearmint.
During the bloom season the farm is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A Roam the Lavender ticket, sold at the farm gate, lets you wander the fields, and a Pick Your Own Bouquet ticket lets you cut a bundle of fresh lavender. More than 3 acres are planted in pick-your-own flowers, with sunflowers and seasonal cut flowers in about 2 acres of gardens.
The neōb line runs to more than 200 essential-oil products: body care, hair care, soap, bath goods, candles, culinary lavender, cleaning products, craft supplies and gift sets. Besides the farm, the company has shops in Elora, Stratford and Bracebridge, and it ships across Canada and to the US.
Southbrook Vineyards is a few minutes away on the same road, which makes it easy to pair the lavender with a winery stop.
