About Passion Lavande

Passion Lavande is a family farm in Saint-Sévère, in Quebec's Mauricie region, that has grown lavender since 2011. More than 10,000 lavender plants grow here, along with over 10 acres of sunflowers planted since 2012 and pressed for oil used in the farm's products. In 2023 the family added a rose garden of 400 bushes in eight varieties.

Entry is free, and the farm is open every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., closing only from Christmas Eve afternoon through January 4. The lavender usually blooms in early to mid-July, with a second flush in early September, and the sunflowers flower in August, when you can cut your own for 5 CAD each. Walking trails with views over the valley are open year-round during opening hours.

The main boutique, in a pavilion above the valley, carries more than 100 lavender and sunflower products, and staff offer advice. A second boutique in the rose garden sells rose products and runs a small café with coffee, tea and soft drinks on a terrace. Groups of 20 or more can book a 90-minute visit for 10 CAD per person plus tax, including a gift. Fall and winter bring workshops; in 2026 these included jewelry making on October 25 and Christmas wreaths on November 29 and December 6.

Domaine Gélinas, a vineyard and distillery also in Saint-Sévère, is a few minutes away.
