About Tin Roof Café

Tin Roof Café sits at 4 Main Street in Erin village. Founders Rachel and Brady first met while working at a coffee shop in this same space, and they opened their own café here in August 2015. They bake from scratch, buy from local suppliers when they can, and brew locally roasted coffee.

Mornings bring yogurt parfaits with honey maple granola, bagels, and breakfast sandwiches, including a house version with egg, mozzarella, bacon, greens and chipotle mayo on focaccia, or a smoked salmon bagel. At lunch the menu turns to sandwiches such as the Italian Trio and California Club, grilled cheeses like apple cheddar or avocado pesto, and wraps including a vegan smashed chickpea wrap. Soup is offered from September through May, and chopped salads sit ready in the front fridge.

Gluten-free bread and buns are available, though the kitchen shares surfaces. The café also does catering and takes custom cake orders, and you can order ahead online for pickup.

Hereward Farms in East Garafraxa is about 20 minutes north, so Tin Roof is a handy coffee and sandwich stop on the way to the lavender fields.
