About Bilston Creek Farm

Bilston Creek Farm calls itself a lavender farm between forest and sea, on Metchosin Road west of Victoria. The land had been left fallow for decades before the current team found it and brought it back into production. Today there is a lavender field pathway, a heritage apple orchard and an apiary, and the farm turns its own lavender, apples and honey, along with foraged local botanicals, into products for the face, body, kitchen and home.

The Lavender Festival runs on select dates in June, July and August. In 2026 it included workshops that also covered festival entry: basket weaving on June 28 and July 5 for $40, lavender wreath making on July 12 and 19 for $95, and lavender wands on August 9 and 16 for $40, all at 2 p.m. The summer also brought chamber music concerts in mid-August, yoga in the orchard and mini photo sessions.

After summer, the farm opens on weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In 2026 that ran from September 5, with a Fall Harvest Festival over Thanksgiving weekend, October 9 to 12, and the Yuletide Market on Fridays through Sundays from November 6 to 29. A Mother's Day Market opens the season in May. A few dates close for private events, so check their calendar. The farm store sells culinary, bath and body, home and lavender collections online year-round.

The Metchosin Farmers' Market is just minutes away.
