About Blast Corn Maze at Nixon Farms

The Blast Corn Maze is the fall attraction at Nixon Farms on Daly Road, between Dexter and Ann Arbor. The Nixon family has owned and worked the farm for more than 100 years. Each fall they cut a 14-acre maze, and visitors find their way with a QR-code map that can point them to checkpoints or an exit. The short route takes most people 15 to 20 minutes, and there is a medium route for those who want more.

The 2026 season ran from September 19 to November 1, on Friday evenings from 5 to 9, Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. After dark the maze becomes a family-friendly flashlight maze with no scares; bring your own light. Admission also covers a hayride, a cow train, pedal cart races, a straw maze, a corn box, duck races, farm animals and the pumpkin patch, and the corn cannon costs a little extra per shot.

Field trips run on weekday mornings in season and include a ride, the animals, a donut, cider and a pie pumpkin for each child. The farm also hosts birthday parties in a private party room, and groups of 15 or more get group pricing.

Hamlett Lavender Farm near Pinckney is about 6 miles north, but its bloom is in summer, so plan lavender for July and come back here for fall.
