About Fenn Valley Vineyards & Winery
Fenn Valley has been a family-owned winery since 1973, making wine and hard cider on a 240-acre farm outside Fennville, between Saugatuck, South Haven and Holland and close to I-196. Besides the farm, it pours at a second tasting room on Butler Street in Saugatuck.
The farm tasting room is open every day of the year except a few holidays, for tastings and wine by the glass. To see more than the bar, book one of two tours that run year-round. The Discovery Tour lasts about 45 minutes and costs $15, starting with a featured glass and heading into the vineyard or the cellar depending on season and weather. The Deep Dive runs about an hour and 45 minutes for $25, with several samples along the way; from July through October it can include a ride on the Grape Train, a wagon pulled through the vines. Tour guests must be 21 or older with ID, should expect uneven ground, and pay in advance with no refunds.
Children are welcome in the tasting room, and the winery keeps play areas and a few toys on hand. Leashed dogs may stay outside but not in the building or on tours. The calendar is full: Music in the Vineyards on Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons in season, winemaker's dinners, a mimosa brunch on select Sundays in fall, the Vine Wine'd vineyard run, a holiday craft market, and the Nouveau Festival in December, held for the 36th time in 2026.
Summerhouse Lavender Farm on 65th Street is about 12 minutes away. Its open days run Thursday through Sunday in early summer, with free guided tours, so it fits easily before an afternoon tour here.
