About Otter Trail Winery

Otter Trail Winery calls itself Langley's newest winery. It runs a tasting room and restaurant on 248th Street in rural Langley, while its grapes grow on a 17.5-acre hillside on Black Sage Road in Oliver, in the south Okanagan. That vineyard climbs to about 1,180 feet and is planted with Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and Carménère. The otter in the name stands for the family, play and community values the owners want the winery to reflect.

Two flights make tasting simple: the Otter Trail Trio is three 3 oz pours of your choice for $20, and the Otter Trail Flight is five 2 oz pours of the house wines for $25 (2026 menu). House wines include a Pinot Gris sparkling cuvée, Pinot Gris, a white blend, a rosé, a red blend and Show Jumper, a Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Bottles from sister labels such as Domaine Artema and Cavallo Syrah are also on the list.

The restaurant serves brunch on weekends, lunch on Wednesdays and Fridays, and dinner Wednesday through Sunday, with a happy hour and a kids menu. The bar also mixes cocktails and offers zero-proof beer and mocktails. The event calendar mixes live music, themed nights and yoga at the winery. The building is popular for weddings and private events and sometimes closes to the public, so check their website before you go.

Full Bloom Lavender Farm in South Langley is about 15 minutes away by car, so a summer lavender visit followed by dinner here works well.
