About Tuscan Farm Gardens

Tuscan Farm Gardens is a working lavender farm on Mt Lehman Road in Abbotsford. A family with four boys bought the property in 2017, moving in with a small flock of chickens and their beehives, and they make the farm's natural body care from the lavender, echinacea and calendula grown there. The centerpiece is a lavender labyrinth of more than 2,000 plants, surrounded by a lily pond, fountains, perennial beds and a rose-covered gazebo.

The season opens in June. Lavender blooms and is harvested from late June to early August, starting with the earliest field rows, while the labyrinth plants are left standing for photos and for the bees. In season the gardens are open Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on weekends until 7 p.m., closed Mondays. Tickets are bought at the apothecary shop on arrival and include parking; in 2026 they were $9 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for children, with those 3 and under free. The shop and café need no ticket.

The garden café serves lavender ice cream, lemonade, lavender baking, milkshakes and hot and cold drinks on a covered patio. The apothecary carries olive oil soaps, spa products, teas, lavender honey from the farm's bees and fresh or dried bundles at harvest, and the products sell online year-round. The farmhouse can be booked for stays in any season, and a few weddings are held each year.

Abbotsford's farm country is close by; the Abbotsford Farm & Country Market is about 15 minutes away.

Tips for your visit

  • Outside food and picnics aren't allowed; the café and garden tables cover lunch.
  • Arrive early on weekends if you need an accessible parking space.
  • Casual photos are fine with a ticket, but pro shoots, weddings and outfit changes need a private booking.
  • Stay out of the flower beds; stepping in damages plants and irrigation.
