About Abbotsford Farm & Country Market

Abbotsford Farm & Country Market has run since 2003 and calls itself the city's longest-running farmers' market. A non-profit society organizes it in Jubilee Park on McCallum Road, at the edge of downtown Abbotsford. Vendors are chosen on a make, bake or grow basis, and most of them are growers and food producers from around Abbotsford, so the tables reflect what Fraser Valley farms have on hand that week.

The market runs one morning a week: Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The 2026 season opened May 2 and wraps up on Saturday, October 31, so late October is the last chance until spring. Expect seasonal produce, organic eggs, mushrooms and prepared foods, along with homemade crafts and wearable accessories. Local farms such as Maan Farms, Friesen Farms and Abundant Acre Family Farm have been among the vendors.

The market invites local entertainers to sign up and perform, and it relies on members, sponsors and volunteers to keep running. It is a short, relaxed stop, well suited to picking up picnic food before heading out to the farms around Abbotsford.

Tuscan Farm Gardens, the closest lavender farm, is about 15 minutes northwest of the park by car. A morning at the market followed by an afternoon in the lavender fields makes an easy Saturday in summer, when both are in season.
