About Purple Hill Lavender Farm

Purple Hill Lavender Farm belongs to a family that has lived in the hills around Creemore for more than 30 years. The farm sits on the 6/7 Nottawasaga Sideroad, about five minutes from the village's shops and restaurants, and it is the first driveway on the right once you turn off Collingwood Street. The family makes lavender-infused bath, body and home products by hand, along with candles, kitchen items and gift sets.

The 2026 season opened on Saturday, June 20, and the farm was open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. into mid-August (the farm listed August 9 as the last day). General admission was $15 per person, with children under five free, and tickets were booked through their website. There is no restaurant on site, but light snacks and drinks are sold.

Summer events add to a plain field visit: a picnic series in the lavender, painting in the fields, yoga on the farm and a summer festival, each booked separately. Photographers, elopements and custom packages can be booked as well. The online shop is open year-round.

The Creemore Hills Winery is about 10 minutes away, and Collingwood and the Blue Mountains are within half an hour, so the farm fits easily into a summer day in southern Georgian Bay.
