About Lemon Creek Winery & Fruit Farm

Lemon Creek pairs a working fruit farm with a winery that grows, makes and bottles its wine on site. The family says its farming roots in Berrien County go back more than 160 years, and it has been making wine for about four decades. That combination means you can taste a flight in the tasting room and then walk out to the orchards and vineyards to pick fruit in season.

U-pick follows the fruit: sweet cherries in June and July, peaches in July and August, apples from late August through October, and grapes in September and October. The farm market sells already-picked fruit daily during the growing season. Crops depend on the year's weather, so the family suggests calling or checking their social pages before you come for a specific fruit.

The tasting room is open every day of the year. Flights are five 2-ounce pours, chosen from twelve flight options in summer and eight in winter, and you can also order wine by the glass, cider or a wine slushie. Seating is first come, first served with no reservations. Groups of eight or more are steered to the outdoor seating area, which stays open year-round, and groups are capped at fourteen; large buses and party groups are no longer accepted. Photo ID is required. Through the year the winery holds wine and art festivals, live music and holiday events.

Lavender Bliss Flower Farm in Bridgman is about 20 minutes west. On a July day you could pick peaches here in the morning and cut lavender there in the afternoon.
