About Round Barn Winery & Estate

Round Barn's home base in Baroda is built around a turn-of-the-century Amish round barn, and the family-owned company makes wine, craft beer and spirits under one name. The Winery & Estate on Hills Road is the place for wine and beer tastings among the vines; the spirits are poured at a separate spot, The Bourbon Barn, and there is also a brewery and pub and a tasting room in Union Pier. Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant in Buchanan is a sister property.

The estate is open year-round except for four holidays, Thursday through Sunday in the current schedule. A guided tasting costs $25 for five samples of Round Barn wine and beer and comes with a stemless glass to keep; tastings are first come, first served with no reservations. From May 2 through November 1, 2026, live music played every weekend under the name Jammin' in the Vineyard, with two sets on Saturdays and an afternoon set on Sundays. For a group, Vineyard Cabanas set among the vines can be booked Friday through Sunday for up to 12 or 20 people.

Food is served on select days, often from a food truck, and outside food is not allowed, with exceptions for young children, allergies and celebration desserts. Well-behaved kids are welcome with a parent close by, though there is no playground, so bring something quiet for them. Leashed dogs may join you outside but not indoors.

Lavender Bliss Flower Farm in Bridgman is about 12 minutes west, an easy pairing on a June or July weekend: cut lavender in the morning, then settle in for afternoon music at the estate.
