About Lewis Adventure Farm & Zoo
Lewis Adventure Farm & Zoo began as a fruit farm, and growing fruit is still at its core. The farm market was built in the 1970s by two generations of the Lewis family, then closed for a few years after a road change. In 2003 Cindy Lewis started selling sweet cherries from a front-yard stand, a new market opened in August 2004, and baby goats in a garage grew into today's zoo. Scott and Cindy own the farm now, with their sons and their families working alongside them.
The fall festival in 2026 runs September 11 through November 1, Wednesday through Sunday. Admission covers dozens of activities: a corn maze and pumpkin patch, the Corny Barn play area filled with shelled corn, a petting zoo, barrel train, carousel, giant slide and swings, pedal carts, jumping pillow, rubber duck races and a low ropes course. Splash Acres stays open through October 11.
The animal side goes well beyond goats, with sloths, lemurs, kangaroos, camels and a capybara; paid Animal Encounters get you closer. The farm market sells fresh donuts, sundaes, shakes and soft pretzels. A summer season with water play runs earlier in the year, and the farm also hosts field trips and groups.
Cherry Point Farm & Market near Shelby is about 15 minutes north, a quieter stop after a busy day here, with a lavender-edged labyrinth to walk.
