Papa Vino's Italian Kitchen on Edison Lakes Parkway is one of three Papa Vino's restaurants run by Quality Dining, whose company offices sit on the same parkway. It is a sit-down spot for a long dinner after a day of touring, and it is set up to handle family gatherings and groups.
Meals start with bread and a seasoned olive oil for dipping. The house signature is Papa's Salad, dressed with a sweet basil vinaigrette that executive chef Harry Anderson created after joining the company in 1996. Other dishes the kitchen calls its own include Salmone Limone, Chicken Marsala and the Sizzlelini. The chef says nearly everything is made to order, so food allergies and preferences can be worked around, and the menu carries gluten-free and vegetarian choices along with wine and cocktails.
Groups have several spaces to choose from. The Wine Room seats up to 40, an all-weather open-air patio seats up to 45, and two private rooms together seat up to 75. Room fees vary by day and meal; the Wine Room was listed at $50 for a weekday lunch and $100 for a weekday dinner. Tables can be reserved online or by phone, and takeout and catering are offered too.
