About Huntingdon House Boutique B&B

Huntingdon House is a limestone church dating to 1867, restored and turned into a small guest retreat on Highway 62 at the edge of Stirling in Hastings County. Hosts Jennifer and Greg live in the farmhouse on the same property. Jennifer found the place while driving the highway in the summer of 2019, and the couple spent months painting, planting and designing before opening; they married on the grounds in October 2022.

The guest space covers more than 1,200 square feet and sleeps up to six in three areas for two: Ashley Hall, the Entertainment Loft with a spa bathroom and jetted tub, and the Primary Bedroom, plus a powder room off the entrance hall. Outside, the nearly one-acre lot has a garden hot tub strung with lights, a bonfire area, and there is an indoor fireplace for cooler nights. Breakfast is homemade and served at the time you choose.

Packages posted in 2026 start at $225 a night for one guest and $250 for a couple, plus HST, with a two-night minimum. Groups of up to six (three couples, a family or friends) pay $250 for the king bed plus $150 for each of two queen sofa beds, and bridal parties can add décor, flowers and breakfast grazing boxes. The B&B is pet-free, though guests can meet the hosts' Great Pyrenees, Bailey. On the first two weekends of November, the Country Christmas Gathering brings more than 30 vendors to the area.

Woodland North Lavender Farm, north of Madoc, is about 25 minutes up Highway 62. Book a summer weekend here and drive north for the lavender in bloom.
