About Dyment's Glen Drummond Farm

Glen Drummond Farm has been in the Dyment family since 1887. Its 120 acres sit on the Niagara Escarpment above Dundas, and the farm wagon rides run along cliffside views over the Dundas Valley. The family runs a market and bakery here, plus a smash-burger stand in season, and hosts weddings, school tours and community events through the year.

The market and bakery is open from Good Friday until Christmas Eve. The butter tart is the signature item and has been featured on morning television; the counter also carries classic and rotating country pies, banana bread, brownies and lemon squares, along with seasonal produce, meats and prepared dinners. A 9-hole mini putt and play areas keep kids busy.

In October the farm turns into the Pumpkin Patch Festival, open most Saturdays and Sundays plus Thanksgiving Monday and Monday, October 26 in 2026, from 10 am to 5 pm. Families can ride the wagons, pick pumpkins in the patch, walk a storybook corn maze, climb a straw fort and visit a children's haunted house and a kids' theater. Food is sold separately from a BBQ truck, a pizzeria and a build-your-own tart cart. Tickets should be bought online ahead of time, since only a limited number may be sold at the gatehouse.

Between the Vines Lavender Estate is also in Dundas, about 12 minutes away, so a summer visit can pair butter tarts with the lavender fields.
